Abstract
|
|
|
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura associated with pregnancy is a very rare disease.
The case was transferred from a private clinic because of massive uterine bleeding following induced abortion at third month gestation and was treated with abdominal subtotal hysterectomy, steroid, and whole blood transfusion satisfactorily.
The patient was recovered from thrombocytopenia on 17th postoperative day without any sequela.
This case was reported and references were reviewed.
